Frequently Asked Questions

Are all products for research use only?

Yes. Every product sold by Universe Peptide is intended strictly for in-vitro laboratory and analytical research only. Products are not for human or animal consumption. You must be 21 or older to purchase.

What purity are your research peptides?

Our research peptides are tested to 99% purity by HPLC. Every batch is independently analyzed by a third-party laboratory, and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) is available for each lot.

What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and how do I get one?

A COA is a third-party lab report documenting compound identity (mass spectrometry), purity by HPLC, batch/lot number and date of analysis. COAs are published on our Analysis page. To request the COA for a specific lot, provide the lot number printed on the vial label via our contact page.

How should research peptides be stored?

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored at -20°C, away from light and moisture. Once reconstituted, keep them refrigerated at 2-8°C and use within the timeframe appropriate for the compound. Always follow standard laboratory handling practices.

How are research peptides reconstituted?

Lyophilized peptides are typically reconstituted in a sterile, non-pyrogenic diluent such as bacteriostatic water or a compatible reconstitution solution. Add the diluent slowly against the vial wall and swirl gently — do not shake — until fully dissolved. We offer a laboratory-grade reconstitution solution in our shop.

How fast do you ship and where from?

We ship from the USA. Orders placed before 12:00 PM ET, Monday to Saturday, are typically dispatched the same business day via FedEx or UPS (PO Boxes via USPS), in discreet, tracked and insured packaging.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept secure, encrypted card checkout. All transactions are processed over an encrypted connection. Use code WELCOME10 to save 10% on your first order.

Do you offer a free research guide?

Yes. We offer a free downloadable guide to research peptides covering handling, storage and best practices, available as a free PDF from this Research Center and our homepage.
